The 1990 thru 92 models had various engnie and tranny issues. Once fixed, no problem, just relax, the old man is paying for it. If dad complains, tell him when you have kids you'll buy your son a muscle car and you'll live with the costs to keep it running and dad can say "I told you so". lol You could upgrade to a 94 Z-32 TT or NA. I own a 94 NA and
a 95 TT, love em both, with few tech issues other than the alternator & starter, which will burn out sooner or later. If you were going to buy another car, get a BMW 540i, they have a 4 liter V-8 and are very reliable, fast too, especially if you get the 6 speed manually tranny.
